We confess - Shenandoah is not your ordinary cabin located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. In fact, it's not really a cabin at all but a luxurious group lodge/home with beautifully landscaped gardens that surround your elegant home away from home!
Just the drive up to Shenandoah Lodge will take your breath away. Towering over Gatlinburg's only lake at Buena Vista Estates, Shenandoah Lodge offers fantastic views from two large patios that overlook the lake. But that's not all! The patios also overlook Shenandoah's private pool! There is also a covered sitting area to get away from the sun. And, not to brag, but under a second covered porch there is a hot tub, big enough for six of your closest friends, perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful setting.
Admit it, you want to hear more, don't you! Well, there is more - a lot more! Shenandoah easily accommodates ten guests with five bedrooms and five baths. Upon entering Shenandoah Lodge, you will revel in the feeling of space, beauty, and amenities. The bottom level alone boasts one of two game rooms, a sitting area, and one of the two master suites. You probably won't want to go any further once your set your bags down next to the fireplace in the king bedroom suite here and peek into the private bath and see the lavishly decorated bathroom with marble floors and countertops. Of course there is a private two-person Jacuzzi tub here, as well. By the way, the Jacuzzi tub is right next to the massive walk-in closet and combination shower/steam room that is fit for a king and his queen.
Strolling up the grand staircase to the main level you will be awed by the show-stopping, true gourmet kitchen with stainless steel commercial appliances, complete with an indoor grill, restaurant stove, and flat iron griddle. Everything the experienced chef in your party will need to prepare excellent cuisine! Of course there is ample seating for you and your guests at the two dining tables. Fortunately the dining room's leaded-glass French doors open onto another large covered balcony with outdoor dining table and six rocking chairs. So just imagine... your meal is complete and now you have retired to the balcony with your friends to share stories and quiet moments while listening to bird song serenades.
If you can move after that magnificent meal, and it gets cool outside, you are encouraged to saunter into the stylishly decorated living room where you may digest your meal by the stone fireplace. If you are in the mood for entertainment, then step down into the gentleman's quarters where you will find a big screen television, stereo system, pool table, and comfy leather furniture to relax on and snuggle up by a roaring fire.
On to retiring! Upstairs, elegance and rest await you in all four bedrooms. One bedroom has a hand painted marine/aquarium mural that will astound you! The lucky guests staying in this suite will be fascinated and delighted by the marvelous "under the sea" vista that surrounds them on every wall of this bedroom. Also, the second master suite is located here and it has a private bathroom and even a stone fireplace!
Ah, elegance, beauty both man-made and nature-made, amenities, surprises, a lake, your own pool, hot tub, Jacuzzi, fireplaces, games, well, we could go on and on! We think you will agree Shenandoah Lodge truly has something for everyone.

“Everything about our stay was fantastic. The house was beautiful and the view and the pool were spectacular. The video on your website does not do it justice. The kitchen is amazing and a majority of our stay was spent there or on the porch.
The house was very clean and the location is awesome. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere yet you are less than 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon forge. If you are going to visit this cabin in the winter, when you say four wheel drive with chains, that is no joke!! Driveway is steep and is no problem in the summer but I'll bet it could be an adventure if there were snow.
We had a one or two very minor issues that were all handled very quickly by the folks at Baskins Creek with one quick call. The service was perfect an we could not ask for any better.
I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for accommodations for a larger party.“

“Hello Baskins Creek,
I'm sending this email to let you know that we had a wonderful stay at the Shenandoah Estate from June 10th - 12th. We wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing we wished that was there was stairs to get down to the pool area from the house. We had a hard time trying not to fall with all the food that we where cooking on the grill. But other then that small but very much needed detail we had a WONDERFUL TIME!!!!

“Baskin Rentals,
We had a fabulous stay at this location. This was our annual Lipman Brothers Gal's getaway, along with one of the employees 60th birthday. We hope that we've found our perfect spot for each year, however we noticed a For Sale sign on the property that really bummed us out. This happened to us when we had finally found the last perfect spot, Cinderella's Castle. That property owner foreclosed. We hope if the property sales it will remain a rental with Baskins Creek. On another note, it took us approx 25-minutes to get the door code to finally open. Also the alarm code we received on Friday afternoon was not correct as well. We received a call from the Sheriff's department. So needless to say we were unable to reset the pass code. Didn't have to use the gate code since it was already opened. Didn't want to take the chance of closing it and the code not working. Otherwise the stay was very calming and relaxing. We stayed at the pool the whole time. We cleaned the house up really well. Took all the trash out and all towels were put in the laundry room. Thank you all so much for a great visit.

Our reservationist's name was Elizabeth. She was super to work with. I first came into contact with her when we made reservations for June 25th at the Wild Wild West Cabin. It was a wonderful place. And we had the time of our lives. The decor was fantastic! I contacted Elizabeth again when I planned a weekend retreat with my brother and sisters with all of our spouses. We booked the Shenandoah! Now, accomodations don't come any better than that! We checked in on Friday and did not leave until Sunday morning. The kitchen was great and we turned out some sumptuous meals in it! It was a very restful and joyous weekend. I highly recommend both the Wild Wild West and the Shenandoah to anyone looking for a luxurious yet peaceful time! Thank you Elizabeth for all of your help!
