“I'm back at working sitting at my desk reminiscing about our 4-day stay in the Smoky Mountains (8/21-8/25), we stayed in "As Good As It Gets". It was beautiful, relaxing, spacious, quite and serened. We didn't want to leave. We all loved everything the cabin had to offer. There were a few minor inconveniences no ironing board, we had to travel to Gatlinburg to get bathe towels because the washer broke, a leaky coffee, an the dishwasher ran a bit long and there was only one set of dish towel, it didn't spoil our vacation. We now know what to bring when we visit again. Yes we will be back. I've been telling family, friends and co-workers about the best vacation I've ever had. We did get out to see many of the sites; we enjoyed hanging around the cabin and viewing the great outdoors.

“We really enjoyed our stay at Baskins Creek "As Good As It Gets" cabin rental. It was perfect for our family. We loved having our own level and the central living and dining area. The love the location, we are out in the woods, but still close to the strip. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. We were very surprised to see it when we checked in. We only wish we could have stayed a couple of days longer. When we plan our next trip to the mountains, we will definitely be back to stay at this same cabin. The only complaint we have is, the pillows in the main level bedroom are not very good, but everything else made up the difference. Get way to check in and check out. We will be telling our friends and people at work about how good this experience was.

“Hello, this is Byron & LaSondra. We absolutely loved your Vacation Cabin!!! We will definitely recommend the Cabin to others planning on visiting the area or will love to stay there again on future vacations. The things that my family loved the most were the Hot Tub and the Pool Table. The beds were very comfortable as well as the jacuzzi. Unfortunately we didn't get to participate in the fun passes that you all offered us because we only had two days there and we just shopped at the outlets, ate out, and RELAXED in the LOVELY Cabin. It was only our family of four and everyone had their own areas but enjoyed spending time downstairs together in the Hot Tub or on the Pool Table. With your cabin, there is absolutely nothing that I would want you all to change. It was very clean, spacious, and offered my family a wonderful and memorable vacation. “Thank you so much ...the cabin was great ,,,we had a wonderful time . It was so convenient to everything. My future son-in -law was with us .He lives on Teester????think that's right . which is just off the parkway so we took a lot of shortcuts! I was a little surprised though...I was looking for a pet friendly cabin...but it was ok that I couldn't bring my wieners with me . But on the top deck apparently someone had "snuck" their dog by you . It had pottied under the big window!!!! You might want to get the cleaners to remove it before your next guest arrive!!!
Overall we were very pleased,,,it was a great ! Good quality time together..We will definetely give you a call next time.“

“We really enjoyed our stay at “As Good As It Gets”…It was very convenient to Dollywood. The house itself was beautiful, with really nice furnishings. We are already planning to try and get it again, next year.
The only two small situations that came up were: 1) The hot water wasn’t quite hot enough, but maintenance got to it very quickly, and then, 2) when we were cleaning up, getting ready to leave, we noticed a small leak under the kitchen sink, at the trap.
Way more positives, than negatives!!!

“We were pleased with the location of the cabin. The cabin was mostly cleaned well, except for dust in a few spots.. We really enjoyed being off the main Parkway and enjoyed the setting. One morning we saw a mother turkey and three little ones walking along close to the cabin. There was quietness, and it was like being in the country with hearing the sounds of the catydids at nighttime and the sounds of different birds early in the morning. The spaciousness of all three levels was appreciated, as well as the jucuzzis, and the large hot tub on the deck. The beds were comfortable . We really wished for an ironing board and didn't get one. The cleaning staff need to be sure to clean the lint filter inside the dryer. It was left packed when we started to use it.This could be a fire hazard.

“We just arrived back home from our holiday get away in the As Good As It Gets Log Cabin. We love that place! We have stayed there several times now and will continue to request that chalet on our vacations to the mountains. On this stay everything was wonderful, with one exception: The sheets on the middle bed. The elastic is worn on the fitted sheet. To wake up several times a night to stretch the sheet back over the bed, is very tiresome. I do hope you all will look into the situation and request the owners purchase new sheets or if you all take care of the sheets, you will toss those out and replace with new ones.
While reading the visitors note book I read several times that people were asking for more dishes and some chairs on the decks. To really be "As Good As It Gets" a relaxing outside atmosphere would be great.
Again we love this place. Would love to be able to purchase it, however renting it a few times a year will work for us.

“The cabin was amazing. Well exceeded our expectations. We are definately planning a trip back.
Couple of issues, the jacuzzy in the Main Suite leaks trough the ceiling to bathroom of the room below. I think it is in the pipes.
There was a stray cat that hung around the cabin all weekend. We didn't feed it but it was obvouis that someone had because it didn't go away. Other than that, the everything was fantastic, highly recommend!“
