Cheerful sunflowers, rocking chairs and a lovely porch swing greet you as you arrive at your vacation getaway. The name “A Little Something Special” truly says it all when describing this beautiful log home. True hardwood floors add warmth and elegance to the country charm that surrounds you in this 2-bedroom/2-bath cabin. This home is decorated thru out by antiques and quilts reminding you of days gone by. The downstairs has a large stone gas fireplace, which can be enjoyed in the cozy kitchen or the comfy living room. Outside on the back deck you will find a 4-person hot tub with lattice for added privacy and a hammock just waiting for an afternoon nap. Upstairs is another bedroom and bath as well as a pool table for your entertainment. A Little Something Special is located conveniently to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and is a haven away from the noise and traffic with woodland views that invite you to stay awhile.

“We enjoyed our stay at your cabin...it was very inviting,comfy and homey feeling...we went with dear friends and were able to catch up and relax...The only thing i would sugget is hanging your hammock a little further out as it would have been alot more comfortable..We were surprised at how quiet it was with other cabins so close and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery on our many motorcycle trips we made during the week..Thank you again and i think your cabin has started a tradition for our friends and us...Thanks again”

“We loved the cabin! It truly was something special. It was clean, had many personal touches and contained everything we could possibly need.
The location was quiet and we enjoyed the wooded setting. We had a problem with the satellite TV service but after a call to the office someone came out right away. Baskins Creek was recommended to us and we will recommend you to others.”

“It was a wonderful cabin! We loved it very much! The only complaint we had was that the tv in the upstairs did not have a signal, so we could not watch anything on the satalite. Other than that it was great! We will most definatly return and recommend you all to our friends & family!!! Thank you for making our vacation comfortable and enjoyable!”

“We loved the cabin, and we really enjoyed our stay. Here are the items we loved:

1. Washer/dryer - came in handy after a wet hike.
2. Gas logs - loved that we did not have to fool with making a fire.
3. King beds - our 2 boys shared this bed and there was plenty of room.
4. Dishwasher - many cabins we have stayed in before did not have one.
5. Jacuzzi - we've only had indoor ones.
6. Pool Table - provided many hours of fun.
7. Movies - we watched several of the provided movies.


Here are the items that we suggest for improvement:
1. Better instructions on how to use the hot tub. We had a hard time figuring out how to turn it off.
2. Separate Direct TV received in master bedroom to allow someone to watch TV at night in bed as others are still watching TV in the living room or ability to play DVDs in
3. Large pan to cook items like soup or boil pasta or corn.”

[Jacuzzi's are inside and most hot tubs are outside. We do have a few units with indoor hot tubs. Mgmt. We passed your suggestions on to the owners.]
